The Engineering Services Manager is responsible for the oversight of the Engineering, Maintenance and Utilities departments for the facility. The primary accountabilities of the role include overseeing capital projects, technology transfer, performance and reliability of plant technical systems, and corporate EHS, FP&R and Quality standards compliance. Additionally the Engineering Services Manager is responsible for managing the MRO (Materials, Repairs and Operating Supplies) program and for identifying other potential opportunities for margin improvement.

**What you will do**
- Leads the technical engineering team to promote collaboration and alignment across functions in order to achieve plant key performance indicators (KPI) goals. Scope of team includes Project Engineers, Facilities & Maintenance supervisor, electrical supervisor & utilities leader.
- Functions as a member of the Strategic Leadership Team which establishes clear direction and continuous improvement expectations for the plant, leads and supports change, provides effective career development and planning for direct reports.
- Develops and manages the overall facility capital and the facility maintenance expense budget.
- Coordinates with the EHS manager and Quality manager to ensure personnel and contractors follow all guidelines for safety, quality and Managing with Respect.
- Ensure and accountable for all engineering aspects of projects as well as associated documentation are in compliance with CP, local, state, and federal standards and guidelines related to EHS, Quality, and Regulatory including factory acceptance tests and validation protocols.
- Support C&S initiatives, leading capital projects related to it.
- Ensure and support property loss control initiatives, following CP standards and working closely with insurance company.
- Ensure training for newly implemented methods and systems to continuously improve technical skill level and performance of maintenance programs and teams.
- Develops and maintains the plant’s 5-year strategic capital plan and overall capital plan implementation.
- Leads all plant energy management and optimization projects.
- Support digital and automation initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Experience in project management/engineering with production management.
- Experience in Supply Chain - Production Management, or Project Management, Engineering
- Very Good communication skills
- Computer skills
- Proficient in English.
- Familiarity with Company practices related to EHS, Quality and Microbiology, and plant financials

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Master's Degree in a technical field or MBA
- Professional Engineer (PE) license would be a plus
- Master's Degree MS in a technical field or MBA
- International experience
- Manufacturing/plant experience and/or experience in other Global Supply Chain functions
- Familiarity with Company practices related to EHS, Quality and Microbiology, and plant financials
- Experience in Manufacturing/plant and/or experience in other Global Supply Chain function
