**SUMMARY DESCRIPTION**

- By providing a foundation for all operations company wide, BioMarin’s General and Administrative teams support our mission of providing first and best in class therapeutics to patients who live with rare diseases. Our teams include groups such as finance, legal, human resources, corporate compliance and ethics, and information technology.This employee will work in the Compliance team and therefore support the LATAM business with part of Global Compliance & Ethics Program (GCE) activities, especially with the LATAM Data Privacy Program, transparency obligations, ABAC initiatives, investigations, support to LATAM audits and policies and trainings.**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**List the major responsibilities of the job.**
- Oversight, counseling, and implementation of all Data Privacy initiatives for LATAM region
- Coordination of all transparency obligations, such as gathering Transfer of Values information and coordinating with 3rd party consultants the review and submission of transparency reports
- Support to the internal audit team in relation to all LATAM audits and follow up with the LATAM team on audit recommendations implementation
- Support in relation to the Global ABAC (anti-bribery and anti-corruption) Program and implementation of all related activities in the region, such as business risk assessment, background checks, analysis of red flags and draft of escalation memos and needed
- Internal investigations
- Trainings in general, and
- Draft and review of policies related to the activities described herein.

- Previous experience in Compliance of pharma industry
- Previous experience with Data Privacy issues.
- Good written, oral, and presentation skills.

- Sound business judgment.
- Motivated, self-starter with ability to appropriately prioritize issues, drive projects, and allocate resources.
