Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

Our Search Operations team performs a critical function that supports our efforts to address objectionable or disturbing content. Content includes images, video, text related to everyday life, but they can also include (but are not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.

The team plays a vital role in analyzing user searches and search strategy optimization to ensure a positive and safe user experience for our community.

It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content on a daily basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Content operation & strategy optimization on the search suggestion feature for the assigned project;
- Focus on the quality and safety of content, profoundly understanding and following up on business progress, and helping product function optimization iterations;
- Work closely with the supervising departments to optimize relevant working standards of our projects;
- Complete regular assessments relating to search quality in accordance with the evaluation of standard documents;
- Use side-by-side methods to complete daily strategy assessment of search quality in accordance with evaluation standard documents;
- Judge user search needs through various queries and tools, and sorting out the classification of requirements;
- Analyze the difference between search-type results such as goods, videos, hashtags, or users and rate the quality of these results based on policies;
- Provide ideal search results and feedback suggestions for policy improvement;
- Willing to work with sensitive issues that include child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, adult & sexual content;
- And any other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge about search engines, the best way to be addicted to TikTok, and familiarity with shopping apps;
- Depth understanding of local culture and familiarity with the Internet usage habits of local users;
- Excellent identifying problems, problem-solving skills, and learning abilities;
- Familiar with common office software, search evaluation experience is preferred;
- Ability to work in a high-tempo environment, adapt, and respond to the day-to-day challenges of the role;
- Resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role;
- Good experience/ skills in cross-team communication and have a sense of project ownership;
- Overseas working / training experience is a plus;
- Mandatory advanced / fluent English proficiency. English will be your working language;
