OVERVIEW:

The COE Assurance Analyst (Search + AMC) supports the Assurance domain's Quarterly Review (QR) program by executing detailed analyses and audits of search-channel performance. Reporting to the QR Search Lead, you will ensure adherence to best practices, align recommendations with client growth strategies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the QR process. Your focus spans traditional pay-per-click (PPC) platforms such as Amazon and Google, emerging retail media networks, and AMC (Amazon Marketing Cloud) insights.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Analytical Expertise: Familiarity with PPC analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Amazon Advertising Console, Google Ads, Walmart Connect) and experience conducting performance audits or analyses.
  • AMC Skills: Ability to navigate Amazon Marketing Cloud, write or modify SQL-like queries, and interpret AMC datasets for audience insights, path-to-conversion analysis, and cross-channel attribution.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven track record of executing structured audits, ensuring adherence to checklists, templates, and best practices, and documenting outcomes clearly.
  • Strategic Awareness: Understanding of how keyword strategies, campaign structures, and budget allocations influence overarching business goals. Ability to connect tactical recommendations to client growth objectives.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with cross-functional teams, presenting findings, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Continuous Learner: Eagerness to stay current with evolving PPC trends, advertising technologies, and AMC features. Adaptability to learn new platforms and incorporate novel data sources into analysis.
  • Excel proficiency is a must and SQL experience a plus.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Search Audit & Analysis: Perform detailed audits of client campaigns across Amazon Sponsored Products, Google PPC, Walmart Search, and similar search advertising channels. Evaluate performance against established best practices, identify gaps, and document findings for the QR Search Lead.
  • Data & Strategy Alignment: Translate search performance data into strategic insights that align with advertiser goals. Prepare clear summaries and recommendations for inclusion in Quarterly Reviews and client-facing materials.
  • Best Practice Enforcement: Use standardized templates and audit frameworks to ensure consistency and quality across all reviews. Monitor adherence to COE guidelines and highlight areas for improvement.
  • AMC Insights: Leverage Amazon Marketing Cloud to extract audience and performance data, build custom queries, and derive insights on attribution, audience segmentation, and cross-channel impact. Present findings in a way that supports multi-channel PPC strategy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the QR Search Lead, QR Audience team, and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to integrate search insights with broader channel strategies. Participate in project meetings, share progress updates, and collaborate on recommendations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on audit frameworks, templates, and processes. Help refine methodologies as new features, channels, or data sources (e.g., AMC) become available.
  • Training Support: Assist in developing training materials and guiding CSMs on interpreting audit findings, understanding AMC reports, and applying search marketing best practices.
