Job Responsibilities
- Establish and optimize financial systems, accounting procedures, and internal controls.
- Handle full-cycle accounting and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee all tax-related matters, ensuring compliance and optimizing tax efficiency.
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting, monitor performance, and provide analytical support.
- Manage treasury, foreign exchange and credit risks, and maintain banking relationships.
- Build and lead the local finance team, and act as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CRC certification is required.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (Chinese is a plus); at least 7 years of finance experience in Brazil, including 3+ years as Finance Manager; multinational company experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Brazilian tax and accounting regulations; proficient in ERP systems and Excel; strong analytical skills.
- High integrity, risk awareness, and business partnering mindset; adaptable to a startup environment; excellent cross-cultural communication skills.
