Job Summary:

Business Analysts implement business system solutions according to the customer's needs and requirements. Responsible for the setup, configuration, integration, and data validation of the system. Conduct testing scenarios, and end-user training, and provide customer support. Spend considerable time with customers performing planning, training, and implementation tasks working with various levels of end-users to create the logical specifications for Business Solutions implementations as assigned. #PuertoRico

What Your Impact Will Look Like:

  • Work with clients to gather system requirements and produce detailed requirements and functional specification documents to solve moderately complex problems within information systems.
  • Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and revise existing system logic difficulties as necessary.
  • Validate, analysed and import initial and final data as approved by the customer.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure requirements are fully understood and provide assistance with overcoming obstacles faced during development.
  • Conduct system testing at the development site and at the client site to validate requirements.
  • Train end users and provide user support while ensuring the use of up-to-date user manuals during the operation phase or as requested by the supervisor.
  • Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for user acceptance and ensure quality standards.
  • Expand or modify systems to serve new purposes or improve current operations.
  • Define the goals of the system and devise flow charts and diagrams describing the logical operational steps of programs.
  • Serve as project leaders for particular systems projects.
  • Document the experience in current projects to find new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve targeting, measurements, and projects success in the future.
  • Document reports design and specifications for custom reports development or modification.
  • Provide support to the development team during development and testing.
  • Contribute to project documentation by updating project binders and project sites as stated.
  • Complete project tasks within establish deadlines and communicate delivery status to project team and management on a timely basis.Participation in the sales cycle will also be required.
  • Consultants should be able to function equally as well independently or as part of a larger implementation team.
  • Work with the product development team to identify potential product enhancements.
  • Communicate with customers, competitors, suppliers, professional organizations, or others to stay abreast of industry or business trends.
  • Communicate effectively with business representatives at all levels of the organization.
  • Perform other tasks related to project or customer activities, as assigned by Supervisor.

You Will Love This Job If You Have:

  • Strong understanding of software platforms and service-oriented tools.
  • Familiar with Puerto Rico government regulations related to Human Resources frameworks.
  • Solid grasp of HR functions including recruitment, retention, performance management, and employee development.
  • In-depth knowledge of systems implementation, testing methodologies, best practices, and project lifecycle phases.
  • Highly adaptable to fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
  • Flexible and resilient during periods of change and tight deadlines.
  • Skilled at translating technical findings into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, and Outlook.Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on teamwork and customer service.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of interpreting data and identifying trends.Effective communicator across business users, technical teams, and executive leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset.
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) and software testing principles.
  • Familiar with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across all municipalities in Puerto Rico for on-site client visits.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (remote and in-office).
