Product Sales Engineer, Geotechnical

Location: Home-Based, Brazil

Position Summary:

Bentley Systems invites talented individuals to join our high-performance team of Product Sales Engineers.  We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Product Sales Engineer specializing in Geotechnical Engineering and Information Management Software brands, including PLAXIS, OpenGround, GeoStudio, GINT, etc. As a Product Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by effectively promoting and selling our geotechnical engineering software solutions to clients in the engineering and construction industry. This role requires a strong technical background in geotechnical engineering, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to effectively communicate the value of our software products to clients. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, results-oriented, and have a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media and sales strategies to promote and sell our geotechnical engineering and information management software to clients.
  • Expertly use LinkedIn and other social media means to engage prospects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the engineering and construction industry.
  • Design and deliver Sales Campaigns and Outcome-based Live Sessions
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to showcase the features and benefits of our software solutions.
  • Understand client needs and requirements and provide tailored software solutions that address their specific challenges.
  • Develop a sales pipeline and forecast all revenue by effectively following the sales process and managing all opportunities in Hubspot as a daily sales tool and reporting system.
  • Collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to gather client feedback and provide input for product enhancements and new features.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of all commercial Offerings and software support policies.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities and provide insights to the management team.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to generate leads and build brand awareness.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals consistently.
  • This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, home-based in Brazil.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the year.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, equivalent Engineering or Sales experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within an engineering organization or selling engineering software is preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with Bentley products, Geotechnical analysis, and information management geotechnical engineering software and information management systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present information to users and prospects via phone and web.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into software solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales tools is a plus.
