About the role
As a Regional Compensation Lead, you will make an impact by leading the compensation strategy and execution across the region, ensuring alignment with business and talent priorities. You will be a valued member of the HR leadership team and work collaboratively with HR Business Partners, Business Unit leaders, and cross-functional teams.
In this role, you will:
Lead the Regional Compensation Team to deliver strategic advisory services to HRBPs and BU leadership.
Design, implement, and optimize compensation programs that support the region's talent and business strategy.
Aggregate regional compensation needs and translate them into actionable plans for the Compensation CoE team.
Enable HRBP leadership with intelligent analytics and reporting to support data-driven decisions.
Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Talent Acquisition Group, OEPM, Global Mobility, Talent Systems) to drive both transformational and transactional compensation initiatives.
Serve as the face of compensation for the region, representing the function with credibility and influence.
What you need to have to be considered:
Advanced english and spanish
Proven experience leading regional or global compensation teams.
Strong background in compensation strategy, program design, and analytics.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Experience working with HRBPs and business leaders to align compensation with talent strategy.
Familiarity with compensation systems, data tools, and reporting platforms.
These will help you stand out:
Experience in a global IT consulting or professional services environment.
Knowledge of LATAM compensation practices and regulatory frameworks.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience driving change and transformation in compensation programs.
Work model:
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in São Paulo.
