We are seeking a skilled and experienced leader to join our logistics team as an Last Mile Operations Manager. This is a challenging role that requires someone who can manage a team of professionals, monitor carrier performance, and develop operational capacity plans.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a group of specialists, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to execute OTR capacity plans, and driving standards, innovation, and continuous improvement in capacity planning, management, and execution.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent leadership skills, the ability to work cross-functionally across multiple operations functions, and experience in last mile transportation/account management. You should also have strong analytical skills, with advanced Excel knowledge and proficiency in SQL or other programming languages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion Amazon's safety culture across all shifts;
  • Lead and develop a team of Amazonians across multiple shifts;
  • Coordinate and execute OTR capacity plans with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Work cross-functionally across multiple operations functions to drive standards, innovation, and continuous improvement in capacity planning, management, and execution;
  • Own KPIs and performance analysis and drive data-based decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
  • Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays;
  • Experience in employee and performance management;
  • Previous experience in last mile transportation/account management;
  • MS Office experience required, with advanced level in Excel;
  • Fluent English, both oral and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience;
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or similar;
  • SQL or other programming language.
