Role / Responsibilities
As an intern, you will support the Business Value team across AI innovation, research, and customer-facing insights. You will work hands-on with data, analytics, and AI tools, while also contributing ideas and fresh perspectives on how AI can be applied to improve the way we work. You may contribute in one or more of the following areas:

AI & GenAI Innovation

• Support GenAI and Copilot initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability within Business Value.
• Contribute ideas for new AI-driven use cases, workflows, or internal agents.
• Help design, test, and refine Co-pilot/ AI-based tools (e.g. insight-extraction agents, FAQ / helpdesk Copilot for Business Value Navigator).
• Support the creation of reusable calculation templates, business case frameworks, and lightweight tools.
• Assist with onboarding teams to effectively adopt these solutions.

Research, Account & Customer Support

• Support key accounts and industries with research, including annual report analysis and validation of financial data.
• Produce structured account insights and summaries to strengthen account planning and customer engagement.
• Run AI agents to generate reports and insights that inform client-facing conversations.
• Present findings to account teams to sharpen messaging and align SAS solutions with customer needs.

Benchmarking & Experimentation

• Analyse analyst and market research on SAS and competitors to identify benchmarks.
• Support value realization work with Customer Success team.
• Explore new research approaches for non-publicly listed organizations.
• Participate in brainstorming and small experiments to test new ideas and tools.

Requirements

• Currently studying / enrolled in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields, starting from the 2nd semester.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel advanced skills required).
• Strong interest in at least one of SAS's strategic industries: Commercial, Life Sciences, Financial Services, or Public Sector.
• Commercial understanding and ability to interpret economic interdependencies.
• Capability to read and analyze financial reports and translate them into clear insights.
• Financial modeling skills (ROI, TCO, cash flow analysis).
• Prompt Engineering, developing AI agents (code/no-code), business research, MS Power Apps, MS Office
• You're curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable.
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
• You're interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.
• Ability and willingness to collaborate globally in various languages with stakeholders from IT, Industry Consulting, Sales, and Customer Advisory.
• Perseverance and commitment to overcoming challenges.
• Advanced English; additional languages (e.g., Spanish) are a plus.
