Our client is looking for a Junior Territory Sales Representative to join their team in Iowa.
The individual will focus on expanding the existing customer base under the direction of
General Manager. The professional main responsibilities will be:
  • Initial training work period led by the General Manager at the Iowa plant, learning about equipment, logistics, after-sales support, sales software and other duties relating to the position.
Once training has sufficiently advanced, a Junior Territory Sales Representative will:
  • Demonstrate strong product and technical knowledge of equipment necessary to provide effective customer presentations
  • Demonstrate ability to pitch business proposals to executives as well as individual end-users
  • Ability to close sales and gain market share from larger competitors
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
  • Degree in Agriculture or related field
  • Experience in sales would be a plus
  • Ability to develop strong direct and remote sales skills.
  • Willingness to build knowledge and experience working with distributors and dealers of agricultural equipment
  • Excellent communications skills.
