Piping Engineer, Senior

Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Piping Engineer, Senior to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte - MG office.

About The Role

• Should be familiar with performing calculations for the sizing of utility systems (compressed air, water, cooling water, air conditioning, dust removal, and spraying), water and compressed air balance, selection and sizing of equipment for utility systems (compressor, water tank, air vessels, chillers, cooling towers, etc.), hydraulic transient calculations, flexibility analysis, pipe support sizing, mechanical piping design, development of utility engineering flow diagrams, preparation of technical reports, creation of technical drawings, supervision of construction execution, ensuring smooth progress of services, assisting in the development of area projects, preparation of quantity spreadsheets, interface with the client and other disciplines.

Proficiency in the following software: calculation spreadsheets, AFT Fathom, AFT Impulse, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and CAESAR II.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering.
• 8 - 10 years of experience as a piping and systems engineer, working on engineering projects in the areas of extraction, processing, and storage within the oil and gas, mining, chemical, or petrochemical industries.
• Proficiency in the following software: Calculation spreadsheets, AFT Fathom, AFT Impulse, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and CAESAR II.
• Strong interpersonal and technical skills
• Team leadership Proactive and dynamic profile
• Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively
• Advanced English
• Spanish is desirable
