Their mission is to build a B2B SaaS platform that unifies these companies through pricing, costing, and quoting solutions—powered by a shared data platform—ultimately enabling new business models across the global agricultural supply chain.

Position Overview

We are looking for a
Data-Oriented Software Engineer
with strong experience in
.NET (C#)
and a passion for building robust, data-centric applications. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large datasets, integrating with modern cloud-based data platforms, and developing scalable backend services within a collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and data-driven backend solutions.
  • Integrate services and applications with
    Snowflake
    and other major data platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data teams to define and deliver new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews to uphold code quality and consistency.
  • Debug and optimize complex backend systems to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Stay up to date with trends in cloud data technologies, big data, and backend engineering.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with modern data platforms (preferably
    Snowflake
    , Redshift, or BigQuery).
  • Strong SQL skills, including query optimization.
  • Proficiency in
    .NET (C#)
    backend development.
  • Experience building and consuming
    RESTful APIs
    .
  • Familiarity with big data concepts and ETL tools (Estuary, OpenFlow, Apache NiFi, etc.).
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of software security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as
    Microsoft Azure
    or AWS.
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
  • Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of
    React/TypeScript
    , HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience working in Agile or Kanban development environments.
