RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Project Services Project Manager should have project management background enabling the successful candidate to perform all elements required in an SAP project life cycle.
  • The Project Manager will develop and drive the project work plan and supervise project team members to ensure adherence to time, budget, key deliverables, project milestones, and client satisfaction (internal and external).
  • Provides project management leadership during the entire project lifecycle also inclusive of evaluating, support, and monitoring project team members.
  • Effectively handle client escalations as required with focus on high quality.

  • Effective interpersonal skills to work effectively with non-Executive and senior Executive audiences
  • Demonstrated success gathering team support for ideas or initiatives, or leading a team
  • Strong time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure project completion on time, on budget, and within scope and agreed performance metrics
  • Facilitates communication with client stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with a focus on enhanced client relationships and satisfaction.
  • Ensures project documentation is stored in accordance with ADP Quality Audit requirements utilizing Collaboration tool and ensuring project team is adhering to these requirements.

  • Ensure proper tracking of Change requests with appropriate signoffs

  • Serves as project escalation point for issues impacting project success that requires resolution
  • Leads inter-departmental coordination efforts required for specific project tasks.
  • Coordinates the transition of new clients from Quotation of the work to production deployment and transition to Client Services
  • Tracks team hours and approvals accordingly through use of PlanView project tool to ensure utilization is appropriate to project needs
  • Understand issues and present resolutions for overall project success
  • Understand and advise customers on best business practices using SAP functionality
  • Manage multiple client facing and internal projects simultaneously

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completion of undergraduate university degree
  • Five (5) or more years of prior related project management work experience leading large projects ideally with clients located in US and or MX or Canada.
  • Two (2) or more years of Project management experience leading projects within ERP systems and/or with SAP focus (USA, Mexico, and Canada countries ideally).
  • Experience with multiple parallel projects inclusive of teams with locations spanning across several time-zones.
  • Fluent in English and fluent or highly proficient in Spanish.
  • Expert knowledge of project management techniques and tools (ProjectPlace proficiency preferred).
  • PMP certification is highly preferred.
  • Some travel, including international, may be required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Project Management/PM administrative experience in IT software development and/or Payroll/HR Industry
  • SAP HCM functional expertise
  • Experience with projects spanning multiple countries and with diverse teams
  • Microsoft SharePoint platform proficiency for document versioning and process flow
  • Microsoft OneNote proficiency
  • PlanView and ProjectPlace for project management and financial and resource management
  • AGILE methodology knowledge and experience
  • Formal Project Management qualifications (PMP or equivalent)
  • Client focused and committed to providing World Class Service
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills
