Specialist Contracts Administrator

Purpose of the position:
As a Specialist Contracts Administrator (Mid-Level), you will respond to the Project Director/Manager and be part of the Asset Based within Saipem do Brasil.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Director/Manager to coordinate contract management activities ensuring that all aspects of the contract during project execution phase are correctly addressed;
• Review and analyse contract clauses and provide assistance regarding the interpretation of contractual clauses;
• Advice, draft and review the contractual correspondence related to Clients and Partners; and contractual communications to Vendors and Subcontractors;
• Prepare and update relevant registers and reports;
• Prepare, follow up and negotiate variations of contracts and claims (including extensions and interruptions) incorporating pricing, commercial, contractual, and technical aspects;
• Support the Supply Chain Function in negotiating contract documents of purchase orders, subcontracts and charter party agreements during project execution and support the teams for followup and closeout of the supply chain agreements;

What are we looking for?

Education:
Bachelor's Degree ‭in‭ Law, Economics, Business ‭Administration or Engineering.

Experience

• ‭Experience ‭in‭ managing‭ contracts‭ and‭ complex‭ engineering‭ projects.
• Energy/Oil‭&‭Gas ‭or ‭Construction‭ contracts‭ previous ‭experience.
• Knowledge ‭and ‭experience‭ of‭ English‭ Law.
• Knowledge‭ of‭ the ‭industry ‭standard‭ contracts‭ (EPCI, ‭EPC,‭ R&D, ‭FIDIC,‭ LOGIC,‭ BIMCO, ‭IOCs, etc.).
• Previous‭ experience ‭working ‭on‭ Petrobras‭ and/or‭ FPSO‭ project ‭is ‭considered ‭a ‭plus.
• ‭Previous ‭experience‭ in ‭reviewing ‭and ‭advising‭ on‭ tendering‭ contracts ‭and ‭effective ‭negotiation ‭skills.
• Strong‭ commercial‭ awareness.
• ‭Excellent ‭verbal ‭and‭ written ‭communication,‭ listening‭ and ‭influencing‭ skills.
• Critical‭ thinking‭ and ‭problem-solving‭ skills.
• Leadership‭ skills‭/‭Team‭player ‭attitude.

Languages:
Advanced English (will be tested)

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
• A postgraduate degree in areas related to Contract Management or Project Management is considered desirable.
