Job Opening:

We have a new position open, Associate Manager, Tax & Accounting at Aptar Bahrain.

Main Function:

This role will be in charge of entity of the cluster "Other Countries", the Associate Manager, Tax & Accounting will be accountable for US GAAP and Local GAAP and will ensure of the respect of local Accounting and Tax obligations.

He will be also a business partner and a support to director, controllers, and GBS CB for tax, local requirements, and non-standard matters

• Perform required housekeeping, keeping all storage areas organized.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues with palletizing and product handling systems, misalignments, and mechanical failures.
• Dismantle, inspect, and overhaul equipment, as required by preventive maintenance program and production schedules.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or malfunctions, implementing corrective actions and repairs to restore operations in a timely manner.
• Document maintenance activities, equipment configurations, and troubleshooting procedures accurately in maintenance logs and electronic systems.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize product handling processes, improve system efficiency, and address performance bottlenecks.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and systems, ensuring proper functionality and integration with existing systems.
• Train personnel on proper operation and maintenance procedures for equipment, promoting a culture of safety and reliability.
• Continuously maintain and advance skill level by attending seminars and vendor training, keeping up with current and future automation technologies.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, parts procurement, and technical support as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions for optimizing palletizing processes, reducing waste, and increasing efficiency.
• All other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Accounting/Finance and Tax University Degree or similar degree

US GAAP and Local GAAP accounting

English B2
