Job Summary:

  • Lead and manage retail marketing team activities related to store intelligence, field force management (promoters), retail sales force training and visual merchandising materials;
  • Ensure best level of sales conversion, thru an engaged promoter team and best brand visibility at the stores;
  • Plan and ensure the execution of promotional campaigns to align with the global marketing strategy and brand identity;
  • Ensure the time-to-market distribution of promotional materials and guarantee product presence at points of sale (hot spots);
  • Constant monitoring of retail management KPIs;
  • Main contact point with sales and marketing local teams and global management;
  • Budget Control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retail Strategy Planning:
  • Develop and implement a medium- to long-term retail strategy that aligns the company's objectives with market trends and competitor behavior;
  • Analyze market flow to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Monitor reseller trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to adjust strategies.
  • Analyze competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for retail, considering factors such as sales growth, market expansion, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the strategy in collaboration with other company departments.
  • Continuously seek new ideas and approaches to improve trade marketing strategies.

  • Development of Cooperative Retail Methodology:

  • Create a cooperative retail model adaptable to each store's operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency;
  • Study each store's operational patterns to identify specific needs.
  • Develop a methodology that harmonizes store operations with the company's global objectives.
  • Ensure teams are trained and equipped to implement the methodology effectively.
  • Monitor performance and adjust the methodology as needed.

  • Retail Data Analysis:

  • Predict potential sales issues for subsidiaries and retailers through retail data analysis and plan appropriate responses.
  • Analyze sales data, inventory, consumer behavior, and other relevant metrics.
  • Identify patterns and trends that may indicate future problems.
  • Develop action plans to mitigate identified risks.
  • Collaborate with subsidiaries and retailers to implement proposed solutions.
  • Monitor campaign performance through key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Retail KPI Management (Key Performance Indicators)

  • Monitor and optimize retail performance through key indicators.
  • Define relevant KPIs, such as sales, stockouts, obsolete inventory, new store coverage, etc.
  • Regularly monitor performance against established KPIs.
  • Identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
  • Report performance to internal and external stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree:
    A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
  • Postgraduate Studies:
    MBA or specialization in Retail Management, Business Strategy, or Marketing.
  • Desirable:
    Advanced courses or certifications in data analysis, executive leadership, or retail innovation.

Background:

  • Fluent English level;
  • Experience in leading and motivating
    multidisciplinary teams;
  • Proficiency in data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats;
  • Skill in using metrics and KPIs to monitor and optimize performance;
  • Experience in budget management, cost control, and ROI analysis;
  • Broad understanding of retail trends, consumer behavior, and competitive practices;
  • Familiarity with technologies and innovations impacting the sector.
