Position overview:
This role supports our client's marketing efforts by working with data to analyze, model, and derive actionable insights. The candidate will focus on building durable, reusable data models and collaborating closely with the marketing team to align data insights with business goals.

This position is designed to take over work currently handled by the hiring manager, focusing on moving from exploratory analysis to building structured, reusable models that provide long-term value. Collaboration with the marketing team and the ability to contribute strategically over time are key aspects of the role.

This is a full-time, fully remote position for Latin America–based applicants within ±2 hours of Eastern Standard Time (NYC).

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze trends and derive actionable insights
  • Develop durable data models using SQL and dbt (not ad hoc)
  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand their needs and align data solutions with marketing objectives
  • Work in SQL with Snowflake and dbt

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience analyzing, modeling, and deriving actionable insights from marketing data
  • Proficiency in SQL and dbt
  • Working knowledge and experience with Snowflake
  • Growth mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow using various tools
  • Versatility and ability to adapt and take on new challenges
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong communication skills to effectively work with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • General understanding of marketing concepts and terminology
  • Willingness to proactively offer insights and propose alternative approaches over time
  • Experience with A/B testing
  • 2+ years analyzing, modeling, and deriving actionable insights from marketing data
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL and Snowflake
  • 1+ years of experience with dbt
