Role Summary

The Dealer Director is responsible for proactively leading, managing, and developing the dealership with a strong focus on both customers and business results. The role involves overseeing daily operations, maximizing customer satisfaction, and fostering motivated, high-performing teams to achieve financial and operational targets — ultimately contributing to Scania's overall profitability.

The Dealer Director EAR – East leads and develops the Eastern part of the East Adriatic Region, which includes Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and North Macedonia. The role ensures profitable and sustainable growth, operational excellence, and high customer satisfaction across all dealerships in the region.

Fluency in one of the local languages (Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, or Montenegrin) is required, or a willingness to learn.

Job Responsibilities

Dealership Management – Create profitability by managing the dealership to meet current and future customer needs and business targets in accordance with plans and strategies.

  • Manage dealership profitability in line with strategies and business targets
  • Drive a strong EBIT focus, fostering a clear business mindset and customer orientation
  • Communicate goals, monitor results, and implement action plans
  • Coordinate sales and commercial terms across products, parts, and services
  • Ensure operational alignment and effective business planning
  • Develop the market and Scania offering in cooperation with the management team and distributor
  • Use customer and driver feedback to improve performance
  • Identify new business opportunities and optimize resources

Dealership Operations – Run the daily operations in a safe and profitable way by setting and following up clear targets, enabling and engaging teams and implementing a continuous improvement approach.

  • Ensure SHE, DOS, policy, and legal compliance
  • Foster a result- and customer-oriented mindset in teams
  • Drive productivity and efficiency through continuous improvement
  • Oversee expenditures and make commercial decisions within set limits
  • Participate in key deals and cross-functional meetings

Dealership Sales and Marketing – Act as a broad external representative for the Dealership and Scania in general, showcasing the Scania's presence, interacting with customers, business associations, unions, schools etc.

  • Build and maintain strong customer and partner relationships
  • Promote the Scania brand and local corporate social responsibility initiatives
  • Collaborate with educational and business institutions in the region
  • Manage the O2D process and rental fleet operations
