The role you'll play
You'll be the tech-savvy engine behind our Lifecycle Marketing team - streamlining tools, automating smarter, and turning strategy into seamless execution. From day-to-day campaign building to long-term systems thinking, you'll bring clarity, structure, and innovation to how we reach, retain, and re-engage consumers across channels. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, BI, and Pricing to turn business goals into reality through powerful marketing technology.
This is a one-year contract position covering for somebody on leave.
- Own the setup, quality, and performance of transactional and API-triggered communications, ensuring high standards with zero errors
- Design, test, and launch campaigns across email, push, and in-app channels with a focus on technical excellence and business impact
- Translate audience strategies into actionable segmentation logic and automation within platforms like Braze and other martech tools
- Identify opportunities to optimize how we use marketing technology to drive acquisition, retention, and reactivation
- Lead QA for Lifecycle campaigns and troubleshoot bugs or blockers with minimal oversight
- Collaborate across teams to implement recommendation models and other dynamic personalization strategies
- Reconcile and analyze cross-platform data to validate performance, improve targeting, and unlock new insights
- Drive system improvements and process documentation to keep our tech stack—and team—running efficiently
The experience you bring
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in marketing technology or CRM operations
- Expertise in email service platforms like Braze or HubSpot, with a deep understanding of segmentation and automation
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SQL with the ability to troubleshoot and customize independently
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and comfort navigating complex data sets
- A knack for turning technical challenges into simple explanations for non-technical partners
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests with a focus on lifecycle metrics like CTR, opt-outs, and conversion
- Clear, confident communication style and proven success working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and BI
- B2C marketing experience is a strong plus
