About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced
Deck Leader
to join an offshore project. This position plays a key role in coordinating deck operations, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting lifting and rigging activities according to project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all deck activities, including lifting operations and cargo handling.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards during offshore operations.
- Manage deck crew and liaise with other departments to guarantee smooth workflow.
- Monitor equipment and assist in maintenance planning for deck machinery.
- Report operational progress and incidents to the Offshore Superintendent.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as Deck Leader or similar offshore leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging, and deck safety protocols.
- Advanced or fluent English (mandatory).
- Immediate availability for a
4-month offshore assignment
. - Valid offshore certifications (BOSIET/FOET, HUET, medical fitness).
- Must be currently based in Brazil
