Position Summary

The Supply Chain Distribution Specialist LATAM is a strategic role responsible for overseeing international trade operations and enhancing customer experience across the LATAM region. This position blends logistics expertise with supply chain insight and customer relationship management to drive operational excellence, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to improve revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency across LATAM supply chain operations.

  • Act as the voice of the customer by leading regular reviews on SLA performance, CTQ (Critical-to-Quality) metrics, and identifying value-added opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to define KPIs, track performance, and report outcomes to stakeholders.

  • Ensure seamless coordination between Sales and Operations for order management, product launches, and quarter-end activities.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance customer loyalty and operational efficiency.

  • Drive change management initiatives to challenge industry norms and unlock new value streams.

  • Analyze and improve existing processes using data-driven insights and business excellence methodologies.

  • Coordinate initiatives to ensure compliance with all quality, legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with LATAM customers, ensuring alignment with service expectations.

  • Coordinate import and export activities for LATAM region, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

  • Manage documentation and logistics for shipments, including customs clearance and transportation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in import/export operations, preferably in the medical device industry.

  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics.

  • Proven experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

  • Fluent in English and advanced proficiency in Spanish as well as Portuguese.

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is preferred.

Reasoning & Analytical Ability

Strong critical thinking and root cause analysis skills. Ability to navigate complex, non-standardized situations with sound judgment and attention to detail.

Work Environment

Hybrid work model based in São Paulo, SP. Occasional travel within LATAM may be required.
