About The Position
We are looking for a
Materials Development Analyst
to join our
Engineering and Innovation
team. This professional will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies for the creation of new materials and the enhancement of existing ones, ensuring the competitiveness, quality, and sustainability of the company's products. The role involves interaction with technical areas, suppliers, and internal clients, as well as active participation in innovation and continuous improvement projects.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop materials, compounds, and prototypes, from requirement definition to validation in production processes.
• Conduct studies, tests, and performance analyses of materials, proposing technical and technological improvements aligned with business needs.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, test reports, manuals, and technical opinions.
• Participate in the qualification, certification, and approval of materials, ensuring compliance with national and international technical standards.
• Provide technical support to the Process and Quality areas, assisting in resolving non-conformities and evaluating raw materials.
• Identify technological trends and opportunities for cost reduction, rationalization, and quality improvement.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and inputs, promoting innovation and sustainability.
• Deliver technical presentations to internal and external clients, highlighting the differentiators of the developed materials.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement, aiming for efficiency and operational excellence.

Who are we Looking for?

• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
• Previous experience in material development, production processes, or similar roles in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in computer tools, especially Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate to advanced English for reading, technical understanding, and communication.
• Detail-oriented, organized, proactive profile with strong teamwork skills.
• Experience in material and/or compound development, innovation, and continuous improvement projects, differential

Principais responsabilidades

• Realizar estudos, ensaios e análises de desempenho de materiais, propondo melhorias técnicas e tecnológicas alinhadas às necessidades do negócio.
• Elaborar e atualizar documentação técnica, relatórios de testes, manuais e pareceres técnicos.
• Participar da qualificação, certificação e homologação de materiais, assegurando conformidade com normas técnicas nacionais e internacionais.
• Prestar suporte técnico às áreas de Processos e Qualidade, colaborando na resolução de não conformidades e na avaliação de matérias-primas.
• Identificar tendências tecnológicas e oportunidades de redução de custos, racionalização e melhoria da qualidade.
• Apoiar a implementação de novas tecnologias e insumos, promovendo a inovação e a sustentabilidade.
• Realizar apresentações técnicas para clientes internos e externos, destacando diferenciais dos materiais desenvolvidos.
• Contribuir para a melhoria contínua dos processos, buscando eficiência e excelência operacional.

A quem buscamos?

• Formação superior completa ou em andamento em Engenharia Química, Engenharia de Materiais ou áreas correlatas.
• Experiência prévia em desenvolvimento de materiais, processos produtivos ou funções similares em ambiente industrial.
• Domínio de ferramentas de informática, especialmente Microsoft Office.
• Inglês intermediário-avançado para leitura, compreensão técnica e comunicação
• Perfil atento ao detalhe, organizado, proativo e com boa capacidade de trabalho em equipe.
• Experiência na área de desenvolvimento de materiais e ou compostos, projetos de inovação e melhoria contínua, diferencial.
• Vivência em ambientes industriais do setor de energia, cabos ou manufatura, diferencial.
• Conhecimento em processos de certificação e homologação de materiais, diferencial.
• Capacidade de transferir conhecimento técnico para outros colaboradores, diferencial.
