Reporting to the GM LAS, this role leads our Brazilian business end to end. You will set and execute the local commercial strategy, build a high-performing team, lift customer experience, strengthen the local supply chain, and drive the innovation pipeline to deliver both short-term results and long-term growth. This is a strong and growing business with significant future opportunities. You will also partner closely with the Nufarm Bioenergy platform lead and the Grain-to-Oil team to align and integrate plans, accelerating platform growth across Brazilian markets for the success of all portfolios.

As the GM, you will lead the Brazilian business, leveraging your expertise in the Brazilian seed industry and in-depth knowledge of business processes. Your key responsibilities include developing, refining, and implementing the three-year business strategy for the Brazilian Nufarm Seeds operations.

How You'll Help Us Grow

  • Develop and grow the Brazilian team's commitment to prioritising health, safety and well-being
  • Lead a cross-functional leadership team of x across Brazil, Including: HR, Sales, Supply Chain, Market Development, Finance, Marketing/CX and Research & Development
  • Drive the development and implementation of the commercial strategy for the Brazilian business and grower adoption in sorghum, canola, carinata and energy cane.
  • Increase the addressable hybrid canola, sorghum, carinata and energy cane market through innovation and industry thought leadership.
  • Responsible for the P&L performance of the Brazilian Nufarm Seeds business.
  • Partner with the Nuseed Bioenergy platform lead, Global GM – Seeds and Grain-to-Oil team to integrate business plans and scale platform growth in Brazil
  • Ensure long range plans, budgets and forecasts are developed accurately and that the finance team partners with commercial and supply chain to meet the revenue and expense goals of the business.
  • Work with supply chain to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality canola seedwhile minimising obsolescence
  • Lead a thriving team across Brazil that continuously raises the bar. Work closely with managers to engage staff and build engagement while recruiting, developing and retaining top talent.
  • Work closely with local and global R&D team to support the portfolio development required. Understand and solve for the future challenges growers will face, ensuring our R&D efforts are focused on the traits we will need to successful on in future years.
  • Work with global business partners to strengthen the foundation of the business and drive for success.
  • Work to implement IBP and the surrounding analytics to ensure supply/demand decisions are made with all stakeholders in balance.
  • Work with internal and external grain-to-oil supply chain partners to identify pathways for integrating new platforms into the Brazilian business.
  • Create an enabling environment for new platforms (Bioenergy) through industry engagement and policy advocacy
