Trade Compliance knowledge is in high demand and difficult to find. Learning about customs, tariff classification and import/export regulations gives you a unique profile. This specialization will differentiate you in the job market, opening doors for you in various industries.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Support the development of protective measures for international trade compliance and enhance customer experience.
  • Assist in managing foreign trade regulations, ensuring compliance with import and export procedures.
  • Learn about Customs regulations and tariff classification, including specific classification codes.
  • Utilize and manage trade tools and product catalog for effective compliance tracking.
  • Contribute to internal audit reports, ensuring adherence to KPIs in trade compliance.
  • Aid in the preparation and maintenance of AEO certification documentation and processes.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to deepen trade compliance knowledge and share insights.
  • Gain a specialized skill set in trade compliance that differentiates you in the job market.

Key Skills And Experience
You are a great fit if you have:

  • Understanding of regulatory concepts, including tariff classification, import/export and customs documents.
  • Proficiency in managing and organizing data using Microsoft Excel. The job involves analyzing product lists, invoices, and other records, so good organization of information is key.
  • Ability to conduct independent research on foreign trade regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI.
  • Familiarity with specific foreign trade compliance software.
