Using detailed sourcing strategies and specialized knowledge geared towards the aviation industry in Latin America, the Sales Support Specialist role, based in San Salvador, El Salvador, is responsible for communicating and maintaining professional relationships with vendors and customers. The ideal candidates will have a background in sales orders processing, able to navigate working in a fast-paced industry, and use their drive to assist with strategic business planning for the GA Telesis Flight Solutions Group and the company overall. 

Responsibilities:

  • Gather quotes on parts and services based on customer requirements and fulfill quotes by quoting from stock and/or brokering materials 
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with customers 
  • Maintain customer opportunities within Salesforce 
  • Follow parts traceability requirements 
  • Track shipments from freight forwarders and suppliers to ensure prompt delivery
  • Resolve Non-Conforming Materials (NCO Cage) discrepancies
  • Forecast, track, and achieve sales revenue with gross margin projections
  • Deliver sales productivity analytics 
  • Travel may be required (Less than 10%)
  • Other duties as assigned 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree
  • A solid understanding of the Latin American market and culture
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and self-motivated
  • Effective negotiation skills  
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Aviation industry experience
  • Previous work experience in sales /customer support
  • Experience with Quantum CRM and Salesforce 
  • Experience working with ILS, Aeroxchange
