
Technical Support Specialist

This role requires a Technical Support Specialist who will be responsible for delivering end-to-end support in accordance with IT service level agreements. The successful candidate will partner with end-users and technology groups to ensure all incidents are analyzed, resolved, and reported back within the promised time frames.
The ideal candidate will have one year of customer service experience and must have previous experience with Microsoft Virtual technologies like AVD, Nerdio and FSLogix. Additionally, they will possess knowledge of PC hardware, computer operating systems and software, as well as the ability to communicate technical ideas to a non-technical audience.
Responsibilities include facilitating incident response/resolution and service request fulfillment services by engaging clients via multiple communication channels and managing client expectations as the primary point of contact. They will also troubleshoot issues to resolution or escalate to appropriate teams or vendors when necessary.
Other key responsibilities include documenting all reported issues, troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the incident management system, providing feedback, additions and updates to the knowledge base where applicable, following established Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes and procedures, and performing operational tasks including infrastructure, product development, and information security non-automated procedures.

Qualifications for this position include an associate degree in Computer Science, information Technology, IT Engineering or related technical field or equivalent work experience, and ITIL knowledge is strongly preferred.
