ABOUT THE ROLE

Performs administrative functions and offers service to all patients who visit the clinic, providing assistance and guidance in the registration process. Ensures compliance with both the service and billing standards established by the Clinic, as well as patient expectations. Collects, organizes, and presents data to resolve specific situations and/or problems. Anticipate customer needs and channel them with management so that action and/or anticipatory measures can be taken, according to established standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Responsible for receiving and caring for the patient, either in person and/or by telephone, offering help according to their particular needs.
  • Guides the patient regarding the services provided by the clinic, the billing process for medical plans, and informs about pending balances.
  • Generate patient file, registering in the system and updating the socio-demographic data of all patients who visit the clinic.
  • Responsible for processing the eligibility of procedures with insurers in the system, updating the information and carrying out the corresponding changes.
  • Verify the deductible that applies to charge for services provided to the patient.
  • Responsible for ensuring that patient documents are properly completed and signed, for billing purposes for medical services.
  • Provides support to the nursing and billing department regarding medical record management.
  • Responsible for entering data according to the diagnosis and/or procedure codes identified by the doctor on the "superbill" sheet.
  • Responsible for verifying the "petty cash" delivered and returning it to the shift supervisor at the time of delivering the cash.
  • Responsible for carrying out daily accounting of the transactions carried out and validating them with the Finance department.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Technical Course, preferably in areas related to Health Sciences or Office Services Administration, with 6 months of related experience in administrative functions. Or instead, High School Diploma with a minimum of 1 year of experience in administrative functions.

Disponibilidad completa para cubrir turnos rotativos de Lunes a Domingo en horario de 7am a 9pm es requerida.
