We are looking for a Sales and Operations Executive for a Leading South America Destination Management Company and its new office in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quote Generation and Proposal Development: Design, cost, and prepare creative

and competitive proposals for diverse travel services, including custom FIT and

Leisure groups specifically for Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paolo and Foz do Iguazu

areas.

  1. Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for international

clients (travel Agencies; tour Operators) managing inquiries, providing expert

destination advice and converting proposals into confirmed bookings.

  1. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on travel trends, new hotel openings, and

competitor activities in the local market to ensure the company´s offerings

remain current and competitive.

  1. Supplier Management: Negotiate rates, terms and services with local suppliers

(hotels, transportation companies, guides, etc.) to ensure the highest quality

and best value.

  1. Booking and Confirmation: Manage the end-to-end booking process, ensuring all

reservations (flights, accommodation, transfers, activities) are accurately

confirmed and documented.

Required Skills:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar sales, operations, or product role

within a DMC, Tour Operator or high-end travel agency.

  1. Fluent in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

  2. Fluent in Portuguese (written and spoken) is mandatory.

  3. Destination Knowledge: In-depth, firsthand knowledge of Rio de Janeiro, Sao

Paolo and Foz do Iguazu areas.

  1. Time-Management and multitasking abilities. Strong negotiation and

interpersonal skills.

  1. Proactive, detail-oriented and solution-driven.
