This role is designed for a leader who understands a fundamental truth of the Brazilian fintech market: regulatory mastery is a commercial weapon. We are seeking a strategic business builder to leverage deep regulatory and commercial expertise to build a competitive moat for our company.
Your core mandate is to serve as a strategic business partner, translating the complex regulatory landscape into actionable go-to-market strategies. This position is about enabling aggressive product innovation while ensuring absolute institutional resilience, transforming our regulatory function from a cost center into a key driver of commercial success.

This role operates on a dual mandate critical for a high-growth, regulated entity: balancing aggressive commercial offense with an impenetrable regulatory defense.

• Architect Commercial Offense: Proactively design and implement the regulatory and product compliance frameworks that allow for the rapid launch and scaling of new, high-margin financial products. Champion a "here's how we can" approach to innovation.
• Optimize Go-to-Market Velocity: Drive operational efficiency by standardizing regulatory approval flows and streamlining strategic product analysis. Your work will directly accelerate our product roadmap and drive commercial results.
• Serve as a Strategic Business Partner: Act as the primary regulatory advisor to Product, Technology, and Finance teams. Integrate regulatory strategy directly into the product development lifecycle from conception to launch.
• Provide Executive Counsel: Translate complex regulatory requirements from bodies like BACEN and CVM into clear business imperatives, risks, and opportunities for executive leadership.
• Future-Proof the Business Model: Lead a forward-looking mandate to research, analyze, and position the company to compliantly capitalize on the next wave of financial innovation (e.g., Open Finance, Cards Schemes, etc).

Main requirements for this position:

We are looking for a professional who is both a regulatory expert and a strategic business builder.

• Proven Regulatory Expertise: Extensive experience in the Brazilian financial regulatory landscape, with deep knowledge of fintech, payments, and credit cards ecosystems.
• Commercial Acumen: A demonstrated ability to connect regulatory compliance with commercial outcomes, with a track record of enabling product growth and structuring new revenue streams.
• Strategic Mindset: You think beyond checklists and see regulation as a strategic tool to outmaneuver competitors and win market share.
• Cross-Functional Fluency: You possess an exceptional ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders across different functions, speaking the language of product, technology, and finance as fluently as you speak regulation.
• Leadership & Influence: Proven experience providing strategic counsel to senior executives and a talent for building consensus and driving initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment.
