Main responsibilities:
Lead daily operations of the Middle School, ensuring an efficient, safe, and student-centered environment. Supervise and develop faculty through coaching, feedback, and professional growth opportunities. Promote high standards of teaching and learning, aligned with school-wide academic goals and values. Oversee academic, co-curricular, and student support programs that respond to student needs and promote holistic growth. Foster a positive, professional, and inclusive school culture that upholds ethical and academic excellence. Support student well-being in partnership with counselors and support staff, balancing academic rigor with emotional health. Collaborate with Elementary and High School Principals to ensure curricular and developmental coherence across divisions. Manage Middle School budgets, resources, schedules, and facilities efficiently. Maintain constructive relationships with students, families, and community partners.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Educational Leadership, School Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5 years of leadership experience in a Middle School setting preferred. Principal certification, licensure, or equivalent administrative credential (or eligibility to obtain). Excellent communication skills in English, suited to an international bilingual community. Strong record of instructional leadership, teacher supervision, and program development. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in an international, multicultural environment. Familiarity with the Brazilian educational context and proficiency in Portuguese are preferred.
