Growth Associate, Brazil

Base is planning to bring a million developers and a billion users onchain. We need your help to make that happen.

Base is built on Optimism's open-source OP Stack. We're joining as the second Core Dev team working on the OP Stack to ensure it's a public good available to everyone; and contributing a portion of sequencer revenue to funding public goods.

We're looking for a Growth Associate who will help us grow Base's global footprint in Brazil.

What you'll be doing (i.e. job duties):

You will be supporting the Brazil Base Country Lead with the following:

• Execute growth campaigns to onboard builders, creators, traders onto Base
• Active outreach to onchain communities, crypto KOLs and relationship management
• Create and direct multi-channel content strategies for social media and community forums (both crypto-native and mainstream audiences)
• Assist in screening, onboarding, and engaging with ecosystem projects
• Manage and grow our local ambassador team and community contributors
• Execute both in-person and virtual activations to drive community engagement and awareness.

What we look for in you (i.e. job requirements):

Must haves

• Experience leading/contributing to crypto-native growth campaigns and/or BD-driven growth
• Existing relationships with regional/local crypto creators and KOLs
• Deep understanding of the InfoFi growth strategies, communities and platforms
• Active on social and within crypto communities
• Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Airtable, Notion) to manage pipelines and contacts
• Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn basic scripting or automation and experience using CRM tools
• Languages:  Portuguese (Spanish is a plus) 
• Terminally online and onchain
• Based in Brazil

​​Nice to haves

• Prior experience working in regional teams, managing communities, or ambassador programs
• Hands-on experience in event operations or logistics (especially in tech/startup contexts)
• Familiarity with developer communities, startup accelerators, or venture capital networks in Brazil
• Background in engineering or technical project management
• Familiarity with the Base ecosystem
• Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Airtable, Notion) to manage pipelines and contacts
