Tutors / Subject Matter Experts (Remote – Short Term Contract)

Location: Remote – Opportunities available for the following languages:

  • Spanish (Colombia)
  • Spanish (Spain)
  • Portuguese (Brazil)
  • Japanese (Japan)
  • Indonesian (Indonesia)
  • Italian (Italy)
  • Korean (Korea)

Employment Type: Short-term contract (1 month)

Start Date: October 13

Working Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week, including 4 hours overlap with PST

Compensation: Up to $20 per hour (final rate determined after assessment)

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Tutors and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support the creation and evaluation of academic content in the areas of STEM, Social Sciences, and Humanities.

This role involves designing advanced academic tasks, evaluating AI-generated responses, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of educational material. The ideal candidate has a strong academic background, teaching experience, and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop structured, graduate-level academic tasks, prompts, and problem sets in your area of expertise.

  • Contribute to one or more disciplines, including:

  • Humanities (e.g., History, Literature, Philosophy)

  • Social Sciences (e.g., Sociology, Economics, Political Science)
  • STEM (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Engineering, Computer Science)
  • Evaluate and review AI-generated academic outputs for rigor, accuracy, and clarity.
  • Identify reasoning errors and provide expert feedback and corrections.
  • Maintain organized records of tasks, solutions, and assessments.
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, or Postdoctoral experience) in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong subject knowledge in STEM, Social Sciences, or Humanities.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching students from elementary to high school levels.
  • Excellent academic writing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to design structured and verifiable academic assessments.

We are hiring nine professionals per language across the following locations:

Contract Details
