Job Summary
Caterpillar's Financial Services Division (FSD) is seeking a Digital Solutions Project Specialist to join the Sales Tooling Team, supporting the broader Energy & Transportation division. This team plays a critical role in enabling digital transformation across sales operations by delivering innovative tooling solutions that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.

The Sales Tooling group collaborates closely with cross-functional teams across Caterpillar to deliver digital solutions that drive performance and support outcome-based improvements. Key tools developed by the team, such as the Customer Solutions Quoter (CSQ) and the Global Sales Variance Tool (GSVT), enable dealers to harness data, streamline processes, and apply technology to deliver consistent, measurable value in the sales cycle.

What You Will Do

• Managing the day-to-day activities of projects, including overseeing project responsibilities and schedules. Developing contingency plans for potential risks.
• Directing and motivating project team.
• Evaluating and managing deliverables to ensure that service expectations are achievable, developed, and met.
• Monitoring project results for significant deviations. Ensuring adherence to quality standards and processes.
• Reviews current operations and IT projects based on business needs, financial and functional analyses.
• Distributes IT projects for team members.
• Assists senior colleagues in analyzing client requirement for IT projects.
• Creates and organizes IT schedules and plans for multiple projects.
• Documents IT demand analysis trends in a technical or business manner.

What You Have - Skills

• Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
• Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
• Implementation: Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: accounting or graphic design).
• IT Project Management: Knowledge of project management; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control IT projects using appropriate technical resources.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Pre-Advanced English.
• Senior experience in digital product or project management.
• Experience with tools such as Azure Boards, Jira, Confluence, Miro.
• Proficiency in Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, cumulative flow diagrams).

Top Candidates Will Also Have

• Advanced educational degree.
• Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist).
• Experience leading rapid prototyping and iterative development cycles.
• Familiarity with automation and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate).
• Ability to lead through ambiguity, resolve conflicts, and drive continuous improvement.
• Skilled in facilitating Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Advanced/Fluent English.

This position requires the candidate to work on-site five days a week.
