We are looking for a highly skilled System Architect to join our team. In this crucial role, you will oversee the architecture of our e-commerce ecosystem, acting as a technical change agent for several development teams. You will be responsible for defining solutions that integrate frontend technologies with backend APIs, while also being the main technical reference for our clients and technical partners. Your leadership will be key in driving successful and scalable solutions across our diverse product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and oversee the architecture of our e-commerce ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.

Lead and mentor development teams, fostering collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Define solutions and guide teams in developing frontend solutions utilizing web technologies, including JavaScript, React, and Angular, as well as native mobile technologies for iOS (Objective-C and Swift) and Android (Kotlin).

Define and enforce technical standards and best practices across development teams.

Act as the primary technical liaison for clients and third-party vendors, ensuring alignment on solution definitions and expectations.

Collaborate with backend teams and other stakeholders to integrate frontend technologies with existing backend APIs, ensuring robust and efficient data flow.

Investigate and solve pressing production incidents, providing solutions and recommendations quickly and effectively.

Manage part of the technical team, including performance evaluations, mentoring, and career development.

Requirements:

Fluency in English is required.

Proficient in system architecture, preferably in an e-commerce environment.

Proficient in frontend development technologies, including JavaScript, React, Angular, and native mobile development in iOS and Android.

Strong understanding of distributed system architecture and integration patterns.

Experience with backend APIs and knowledge of how to effectively integrate frontend applications with backend systems.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.

Expertise in software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD).

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and vendors.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentorship and collaboration.

Ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and provide technical guidance to teams.

A passion for best practices in software architecture.

Proficiency in Spanish would be a significant advantage.
