Position Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our global finance team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience across key financial areas such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and Accounting. The role provides full immersion in day-to-day financial operations and exposure to international business processes.
Fluency in English is mandatory
, as the intern will engage with global teams and support international financial workflows.
This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days at home) with 6 hours of work per day.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in both English and Portuguese, and collaborate with international teams to align financial processes.
• Track the procurement process for domestic and international suppliers, including purchase orders, invoice posting (MIGO/MIRO), and payment preparation.
• Help prepare international remittances and support foreign exchange contract processing.
• Contribute to cash flow forecasting and assist with financial analysis for reporting to headquarters.
• Support receivables management, including invoice generation and payment reconciliation for both local and global clients.
• Learn about the issuance of tax documents, including those related to import/export, and follow up on tax declarations and compliance in an international context.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly closing reports and participate in automation initiatives alongside IT, including meetings held in English.

Position Requirements

• Fluent English languages skill, both written and spoken (mandatory). Proficiency will be tested.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics. (preferably somebody studying the second-to-last year of degree, as the internship lasts up to 2 years).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, dynamic, proactive, well-organized, and highly interested in working in a multicultural environment.
