Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate documents, audio, and video content from English to Portuguese (Brazilian variant) and vice versa.

  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance in all translations.

  • Review and proofread translated texts for grammar, consistency, and style.

  • Collaborate with project managers, editors, and localization teams to meet deadlines.

  • Adapt content for Brazilian audiences where localization is required.

  • Maintain terminology databases and glossaries for consistent language use.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion.

Native fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and excellent command of English.

Strong knowledge of Brazilian culture, idioms, and linguistic nuances.

Proficiency with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, or Smartcat.

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
