TITLE: Technical Support Specialist

LOCATION: Sao Paulo, Brazil

We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our support team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to users experiencing hardware, software, or network-related issues. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical help via phone, email, or chat, and will be expected to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently and professionally. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will work closely with other professional service teams to ensure that all components of our system are running smoothly and that users receive timely and effective support. You will also be responsible for documenting issues, maintaining support logs, and escalating complex problems to higher-level support teams when necessary. Your ability to communicate clearly and patiently with users of varying technical skill levels will be essential to your success in this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, and other tech products. You should be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and have a customer-focused mindset. Experience with help desk software, remote desktop applications, and IT service management tools is highly desirable.   • Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or chat
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Provide step-by-step technical assistance to users
  • Document technical issues and solutions in support logs
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams
  • Install, configure, and update software and hardware
  • Maintain and monitor IT systems
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new users
  • Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates
Requirements and skills:
  • Proven experience as a Technical Support Specialist or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of computer systems related to retail market
  • Familiarity with help desk and remote support tools
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-oriented mindset with patience and professionalism
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Knowledge in linux systems
  • Understanding of shell scripts, xml and json is a plus
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts if needed
