This role will be reporting to the Business Development Manager for Spain and Italy and will be based in Italy (Milan area or Lombardy region).

What will you be doing?

Developing new business opportunities (designing, developing and implementing business strategies/actions) with the aim of improving/maintaining the organisation's market positioning and achieving established financial targets.

Technical and organisational support to the rest of the BU commercial team.

Collaborate in the design and implementation of marketing strategies.

MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop relationships with institutions and influencers at all organizational levels of the target customer, building trust through skillful and honest management of networks and interpersonal relationships.

- Extensive client planning, analysis and follow-up skills.

- Developing new business and identifying decision-makers and managing leads.

- Adapting our sales proposition to each target client.

- Organising visits, surveying customer needs, presenting products and technical presentations, preparing commercial proposals, negotiating and following them up, in coordination with the rest of the sales team.

- Opening, developing and maintaining commercial projects, planning and structuring the actions required to carry them out.

- Service quality orientation, knowing how to manage multiple project environments and cross-functional responsibilities.

- Service as a product specialist for the assigned business areas, when it is necessary to support the sales network (for non-target customers).

- New technically complex products

- Presentations requiring an "institutional" presence

- Development of technical proposals for customer offers and projects.

For the assigned business areas, collaboration with the BD Manager in the development of

- Product portfolio strategy and management: launches, withdrawals, forecasts, CAPEX control.

- Market research

- Marketing actions.

- Management of national and international congresses and co-management of Medical Education: Identification of needs. Organisation of and participation in events.

- Management of the sales network training plan.

What will you need to be successful?

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Degree or diploma or equivalent experience related to health sciences and/or marketing.

- Proven in Marketing and/or Sales in a company in the sector (preferably arthroscopy).

- Preferably experience in a similar position of at least 2 years or have a profile suitable for the position.

- High knowledge of the sector (products, KOL, competition...).

- Technical profile specialised in the assigned products

- Languages: English (high level)
