Infrastructure TPM, Infra Capacity Delivery
Há 2 dias
You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
We're seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technical Program Manager to oversee data center build projects in São Paulo, Brazil and potential future scope in LATAM. Technical Infrastructure Program Managers lead cross-functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Along the way, you will use your judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence without authority, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate non-value-add activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator (both written and verbal), not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities, and be capable of understanding mechanical/electrical engineering concepts. They will be able to apply a variety of project management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle and exhibit demonstrated experience in tactical project management of highly technical initiatives and core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking. Other requirements include experience with M365 suite, and commercial collaboration and workflow tools. Experience with dashboard software (Tableau, QuickSight, Power BI) SQL and systems integration is a plus.
If you enjoy the challenges of deploying highly technical and innovative projects at massive scale, this job is for you
Key job responsibilities
As a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager, you will serve as the key point of responsibility for delivering data center capacity in the São Paulo, Brazil region. You will coordinate diverse teams including supply services, design engineering, procurement, construction, field engineering, commissioning, and operations to ensure timely capacity delivery aligned with long range planning commitments.
Your responsibilities include managing the end-to-end delivery process from strategy through implementation and handover, mitigating constrained availability zones, and addressing supply chain delays. You will oversee build triggers, support new region activities, and ensure coordination between numerous stakeholders to deliver the right solution on schedule.
You will operate at three levels: supporting macro-level strategy and long-term decisions, managing specific project delivery, and resolving micro-level issues and blockers. Success requires bringing teams together with a holistic perspective that individual subject matter experts cannot provide alone, ensuring AWS customers never face capacity constraints that impact performance or availability.
A day in the life
You will start each day reviewing build milestones and monitoring capacity delivery status across your assigned clusters. Your morning includes coordinating with Field Engineering, Operations, and commissioning teams on active construction projects while addressing blockers that could delay handover dates.
Mid-day involves stakeholder meetings with planning teams, supply chain partners, and regional leadership to align on delivery timelines. You will update project status, escalate risks, and ensure cross-functional teams remain synchronized.
Your afternoon focuses on strategic planning, reviewing upcoming builds, and solving complex delivery challenges by bringing together diverse expertise from security, energy, network, and operations teams.
