Completes budget planning, financial planning, actual-versus-plan-analysis, benchmarking, forecasting and reporting activities, for the management of an assigned organization unit.

The Revenue Operations Analyst is a key finance professional responsible for ensuring accurate recognition of revenue and costs for Varian's legal entity in Brazil, in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies. This role involves close collaboration with the sales and services teams, as well as other departments, to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Additionally, the analyst provides comprehensive performance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenues and costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to align financial practices and ensure consistency.
  • Support accountable management in planning and calculating yearly budgets.
  • Conduct midterm planning cycles and periodic forecasts throughout the fiscal year.
  • Perform actual-versus-plan analysis and the impact of corrective measures.
  • Provide regular business performance reports and recommend actionable insights to management.
  • Analyze and evaluate cost structures to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Carry out ad-hoc analyses and profitability assessments to support strategic decisions.
  • Manage and monitor inventory measures on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform evaluations of assets and liabilities as needed.
