OverviewAs a Network Architect, in the Network Team, you will be responsible to propose, analyze and define the requirements for new and existing services and systems, in the functional domain of Evolved Packet Core and 5G SA Core.You will be responsible for preparing, designing, testing, and delivering new solutions or enhancements to the existing product portfolio.Additionally, you will define and support the technology evolution roadmap for systems within the assigned functional area and domain, while also actively participating in and supporting cross-functional projects in collaboration with other functional areas.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaboration with other Networks teams in defining and managing the projects for delivery of new solutionsProject delivery.Network design.Integration and migration strategy definition.Collaboration with other relevant departments.Responsible for end-to-end deliveryIterates with the customer (internal and external) and other stakeholders to determine the technical requirements, risks, technical impacts, and recommendationsDesign of new consumer and corporate telecom solutionsCreation of technical documentation (HLD's, LLD's, WO's, etc.) and maintain it over the lifecycle of the solutionsUnderstanding of End to End system testing requirementsFollow-up and define Quality and Performance indicatorsCapacity and Performance Analysis, Reporting and Improvement Solution DefinitionService & Resource configuration definition and implementation on requested systemsWork on complex solutions that influence the design of current products and addresses design issues for future products or technologiesMarket prospection of new solutions through elaboration and analysis of Request for Information/Proposal/Quotation processes and negotiation with potential suppliersElaborate, and manage the process, for change requests to current partners in order to meet the network necessitiesControl the network elements roadmap, being responsible for the necessary software/hardware upgrade during the components lifecycleGenerate and implement process improvements, including and especially cross-team processesFollow up of new technology trends in the Telecom industry.Documents the existing technology portfolio and proposes recommendations for improvements and/or alternativesRequirementsMust HaveProven experience on implementation of live solutions on mobile telecom (GSM, UMTS, LTE, IMS), networks design, capacity management, engineering and architectureKnowledge of 3GPP, GSMA, ITU standards and specificationsExperience in the design, test and operation of Packet Core systems, including P-GW, RADIUS, DNS, PCRF, ePDG, DRAExperience in defining, establishing and maintaining roaming interconnects for GRX/IPXUnderstanding about IMS architecture.Experience in deploying VoLTE, VoWiFi, and QoSExperience in designing, implementing, testing and troubleshooting the following interfaces: Gx, RADIUS, SGi/Gi, Gy, Bp, S6b, S2b, SWm, SxbExperience in mobile services charging (offline, online).Experience in Policy control, including DPI and PCRF policy creationExperience with IoT, including LTE-M and NB-IoTKnowledge and experience with Diameter/SCTP networks and protocolsKnowledge and experience with protocols such as RADIUS, GTP-C, GTP-U, Diameter, MAP, S6aExperience with protocol analyzer tools like Wireshark, Astelia, and ability to use them to troubleshoot networks errors/problems for the mentioned protocolsExperience with ETSI NFV architecture and solutionsFamiliar with MVNO/MVNE/MVNA architecture(s) and landscapeEnglish proficiency mandatory, other languages are a plusDegree in Telecom Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experienceNice to Have+8 years working on telecoms, designing and implementing mobile core networks+3 years in a telecom strategy roleExperience in 5G Core design, implementation and
