Senior Policy Analyst | Upto $35/hr RemoteJoin Mercor as a Senior Policy Analyst, working remotely with a pay range of $*****/hr - $*****/hr.Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs, headquartered in San Francisco with investors including Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.Role OverviewPosition: Public Policy Language Specialist – Contract, RemoteCommitment: 20 hours per week, Duration: 2 monthsLeverage public policy expertise and language mastery to train cutting-edge AI models in the public policy domain.ResponsibilitiesTranslate, adapt, and synthesize complex policy frameworks into clear, structured rubrics for AI training.Write fluently in both Portuguese and English, ensuring accurate terminology and nuanced expression across languages.Provide cultural and policy insights unique to the public in Brazil.Collaborate closely with reviewers and peers to refine content.Requirements / QualificationsMust-Have QualificationsNative-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese with strong written and spoken English.Degree in policy, political science, sociology, or a similar field.2–6+ years of experience in politics, public policy, think tanks, etc.Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.Experience in policy writing, instructional design, or academic publishing.Preferred QualificationsExperience with grading, instructional design, or rubric development is a plus.Familiarity with generative AI models or machine learning concepts is a bonus, but not required.Engagement DetailsRemote and asynchronous role — work on your own schedule.20 hours per week commitment.2 months duration.Structured project environment with clear goals and tools.Application ProcessSubmit your resume.Complete an AI-led interview to assess Portuguese language ability and professional experience.If selected, you'll take a follow-up AI-led interview to assess your professional background.You'll then complete a paid work trial to determine if this type of work is suited for you.After that, you'll receive feedback and be onboarded to the project.Mercor is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.#J-*****-Ljbffr
