Position TitleManager, End-user EngineeringDepartmentInformation SystemsJob DescriptionThe Mgr End User Engineering provides technical and managerial leadership in the design, planning, operation, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting of endpoint administration.
This position ensures continuity and alignment of the infrastructure with strategic business requirements and participates in architecting the endpoint infrastructure and in the development of guidelines, procedures, and standards.
This position must stay abreast of the latest technological developments to ensure service levels proactively meet or exceed company requirements and service level agreements with key stakeholders and vendors.
Administrative duties including resource management, budgeting, presenting team status, and vendor relations are all essential duties.Essential ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities listed in this section are core to the position.
Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position.Lead the design and architecture of secure and scalable endpoint solutions for the entire enterpriseProvide leadership, coordination, and communication for projects involving systems solutionsDevelop and maintain policies, architectures, frameworks, roadmaps, and standards that deliver the strategic IT goals, business priorities, and comply with technical and industry/regulatory standardsSupervise Systems Engineering team to address day-to-day issues and develop and execute longer term initiativesAssess emerging industry trends; anticipate and develop strategic solutionsParticipate in Architecture Review Board governance for project solutionsMentor and manage team members both technically and professionally to develop a mature team capable of meeting business requirementsGeneral ResponsibilitiesPerforms other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's Degree required.Experience:5 or more years of experience in voice network engineering with at least 3 years of progressive leadership experience required.Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required:One of the following certifications required within 2 years of hire:VMware Certified Professional - Desktop ManagementMS-102: Microsoft 365 AdministratorMicrosoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator AssociateKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesAbility to manage a teamExpert knowledge in developing technical documentation and architectural diagramsExpert knowledge in scripting and automation tools for voice system managementExcellent leadership, organizational, and project management skillsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesFamiliarity with SD-WAN and other advanced networking technologiesExpert knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise architecture frameworksEffective and professional communication and interpersonal skillsCurrent OU Health Employees - Please clickHEREto login.OU Health is an equal opportunity employer.
