Team Introduction TikTok's SMB team aims to help businesses, agencies and brands of all sizes unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, or perhaps be discoveredFrom designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have tailored tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small.About the RoleWe're looking for a dynamic, passionate Account Manager with an understanding of digital advertising to join our growing Scaled Business Sales team in Sao Paulo.You will be a crucial member of a growing team that will partner with SMB advertisers in a one-to-many structure with the goal of nurturing, retaining and growing accounts.You will develop newly acquired advertisers alongside long-term client relationships with a focus on driving revenue, advertiser education & satisfaction from campaign performance success, analysis and new strategic opportunities.Success in this position requires a focus on opportunity identification, client service, the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment, and the ability to help shape and sell scalable solutions to grow and support SMB customers.Responsibilities- Raise the bar: Be results focused, grow revenue, educate and lead strategic conversations with SMB clients.Spot opportunities to drive scalable impact via compelling sales propositions that can be pitched en masse with minimal customization.- Make your own discoveries: Grow a deep understanding of TikTok's products, processes and tools, adapting to diverse client needs and objectives.Demonstrate expertise in all matters relevant to your book of business, including escalation and troubleshooting to resolve client issues.- Assume ownership: Bring a passion for helping businesses achieve results, partnering with small and medium sized clients to optimize and improve the performance of their TikTok campaigns and identify programmatic ways to do this at scale.Understand their business objectives and determine the right course of action with a view to helping them grow their business.- Deliver value at scale: Use scalable tools, data, and insights to prioritize and plan your client engagement strategy across a wide book of business.Tapping into your industry knowledge, sales experience, and product expertise, determine what engagement level (light touch to in-depth relationship building) is required to meet client needs.- Embrace change as an opportunity: You will have a growth mindset: learning if you don't understand, accepting challenges, growing through failure; viewing uncertainty as an opportunity to thrive.- Collaboration creates value: Seek to support new team members as they learn about our products and processes.Share your knowledge and empower your peers.Liaise with cross-functional teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives.Minimum Qualifications- 5+ years full-time sales, account management or agency experience, managing clients at scale;- Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem;- Experience of self-serve platform, auction, or programmatic ad products is a plus; - Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals with a large book of business.Preferred Qualifications- Passionate about TikTok marketing, and up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up;- Creative, out-of-the box thinking with a willingness to experiment;- Comfort with analyzing insights and data to find macro and micro opportunities to deliver value to client, team, and the SMB channel;- Critical thinking, analytical skills with an entrepreneurial and proactive mind-set;- Curiosity - actively self teaches and seeks input from others;- Team working skills, ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
