Cloud Operations Specialist

Key Role Summary:As a Cloud Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in designing and managing large-scale cloud infrastructure across multiple providers and SaaS solutions.This position is critical in supporting high-visibility events and contributing to key product updates, infrastructure improvements, and business continuity initiatives.Responsibilities:Design, build, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using industry-leading technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Kubernetes.Lead migrations from traditional virtualized environments to cloud-native environments, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruption.Support large-scale live and product events by implementing reliable and scalable DevOps practices, guaranteeing timely and efficient delivery.Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation frameworks to streamline deployments, improve efficiency, and reduce errors.Manage security response, incident management, and compliance across systems, maintaining the highest standards of data protection and confidentiality.Maintain observability and monitoring frameworks for critical services, enabling real-time insights into system performance and reliability.Optimize cloud spend and ensure cost-efficient resource utilization through strategic planning and continuous optimization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application delivery, load balancing, caching, and backend performance, driving innovation and excellence throughout the organization.Support frontend (CDN/load balancing) and backend (DB/caching) delivery management, ensuring a seamless user experience.Contribute to Agile development cycles and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.Requirements:Proven hands-on experience in DevOps engineering and cloud infrastructure management, with a strong track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments.Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Kubernetes, with a deep understanding of cloud architecture and design principles.Strong experience with serverless technologies and container orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks, such as Terraform and Ansible.Solid understanding of observability, configuration management, and system monitoring, with experience in implementing robust monitoring and logging solutions.Experience with security response, compliance, and incident resolution, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of data protection and confidentiality.Knowledge of frontend delivery (CDN, load balancing) and backend management (DB, caching), with a strong understanding of web application architecture and performance optimization.Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and development lifecycle management, with experience in leading Agile teams and driving project success.
