- The Netskope UI team is looking for a highly motivated and skillful Engineering Manager, or a Technical Lead looking to move into the Engineering Manager role.
As a UI Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for building the next generation of user experiences across all of our Netskope products.
If you can comfortably put on the hat of architect, manager, and leader working in Cloud Security space, then we have an exciting opportunity awaiting you.
**The Role**
- Netskope UI team is looking for a highly motivated and skillful Engineering Manager.
This is an exciting role, demanding a strong.
background in both people management and UI technology.
- Hire, coach, and grow a high performing UI team of talented engineers with diverse skill-sets.
- Collaborate with the geo-distributed team to own and deliver projects end-to-end.
- Communicate across functional teams and drive engineering initiatives.
- Participate in architecture and technical design and drive product direction & strategy.
**Management Responsibilities**
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for UI and API Gateway.
- Participate in deep technical discussions and provide direction for the team.
- Collaborate across organizational boundaries to ensure shared roadmap and streamlined delivery of features.
- Refine and grow existing processes or develop new ones to enable smooth functioning of engineering team.
**Required Technical Skills**
- Solid experience in , Express (knowledge of NestJS a plus).
- Knowledge of secure web development practices.
- Working experience with Cloud Security and/or cloud technologies.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- BS/ MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 10+ Years of experience, 5+ Years of management experience and delivering software on schedule with quality.
- Proven hands-on technical management.
- Expertise in software security domain will be a bonus.
- Energetic self-starter, with the desire to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
