RequirementsMust-haves2+ years in supporting and/or maintaining agricultural electro-mechanical systemsExperience working with large field machinery and agricultural equipmentExperience troubleshooting complex software, electronics, and mechanical systemsStrong customer-facing skills and team-oriented mindsetWillingness to travel to the field to provide hands-on supportRelevant work experience in Agriculture or related technical areaBachelor's degree in Agriculture, Engineering, or Computer ScienceExcellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and PortugueseNice-to-havesFamiliarity with Linux and simple script programmingSkills in scripting and programming languages such as PythonExperience in design verification testing (DVT) designing and executingExperience with CAD (e.g. SolidWorks)What you will work onPerform hands-on set-up, maintenance, testing, and customization in the fieldPerform hardware, software, and machine vision field tests of farm machineryProvide in-field engineering support, including diagnosing and troubleshootingProvide detailed documentation of testing execution and resultsProvide high-quality data collectionHelp create product documentation, instructions, and guidesTrack and manage recurring issues, from problem identification to resolutionSuggest design alternatives and support the development of new features and toolsTransport and operate field test-related equipment as neededAdditional informationYou'll have to travel around Mato Grosso and Goiás, BrazilYou'll need to have a valid Brazilian driver's license (type B)Tools, equipment, and vehicles are provided by the companyThe company reimburses all work-related expenses (accommodation, meal, transport, etc.)While performing the duties of this job, the professional is regularly required to communicate verbally, including listening and speaking.This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing, often outdoors in cold and hot ambient weather conditions.The professional must frequently lift and/or move items over 25 pounds (~ 11 kg) and occasionally lift and/or move items over 50 (~ 22 kg) pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
