Responsibilities
Manage environmental, siting, planning, and permitting for energy projects
Direct preparation of environmental documentation, including impact analyses and permit applications
Oversee energy facility siting/routing, permitting, and environmental field surveys
Represent clients before federal, state, and local regulatory agencies and planning commissions
Coordinate and mentor junior staff while managing project budgets and forecasts
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an environmental program (Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science) or related field; Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 15 years of relevant environmental experience
Ability to research and interpret federal, state, and local regulations for project permitting
Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills (both oral and written)
Valid driver's license in good standing and ability to pass the company DMV check
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with environmental, regulatory, and land use agencies, such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service
Proven track record of winning work within the energy market
Established client relationships within the energy sector
Experience in managing large complex energy projects
