Organisation/Company FAPESP - São Paulo Research Foundation Research Field Agricultural sciences Researcher Profile Established Researcher (R3) Country Brazil Application Deadline 5 Dec *********:59 (UTC) Type of Contract To be defined Job Status Not Applicable Is the job funded through the EU Research Framework Programme?Not funded by a EU programme Is the Job related to staff position within a Research Infrastructure?NoOffer DescriptionOne post-doctoral position in the area of Innovation is available at the Center for Carbon Research in Tropical Agriculture (CCARBON), a Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center (RIDC) based at the University of São Paulo's "Luiz de Queiroz" College of Agriculture (ESALQ-USP) in Piracicaba (São Paulo, the São Paulo Research Foundation.The CCARBON Innovation Plan is structured around five strategic pillars:(i) Structuring of the Innovation Ecosystem;(ii) Development of Public–Private Partnerships;(iii) Entrepreneurship Promotion;(iv) Discovery and Technology; and(v) International R&D&I Partnerships.For these strategies, it is essential to articulate the network of stakeholders that influence or are influenced by CCARBON's activities.This requires mapping actors, institutions, ongoing initiatives, areas of expertise, and societal demands, ensuring transparent, informed, and integrative decision-making processes.Stakeholder engagement is fundamental for strengthening innovation pathways and for aligning CCARBON's strategic actions with concrete societal needs.The post-doctoral researcher will lead the systematic stakeholder mapping and analysis necessary to consolidate CCARBON's innovation ecosystem, identifying interconnections, opportunities for collaboration, existing gaps, and strategic directions for innovation-driven impact.Finally, the researcher will lead an investigation on the opportunities to develop a science-based, robust mechanism of testing and validating innovative solutions to quantify carbon emissions and sequestration in different agricultural activities, positioning CCARBON as key player for improving innovations in the startup-companies interaction.This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality.The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,****** monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.More information about the fellowship is at:fapesp.br/oportunidades/****.Eligibility of fellows: country/ies of residence:AllEligibility of fellows: nationality/ies:AllWork Location(s)Number of offers available 1 Company/Institute Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz", Universidade de São Paulo (ESALQ-USP) Country Brazil State/Province São Paulo City Piracicaba Postal Code ********* Street Avenida Pádua Dias, 11#J-*****-Ljbffr
